1Set baud rate

Set the Baud rate on the Serial adapter to 9600 (see table 1 on page 9)

2Plug in

Plug the Bluetooth serial adapter to an available serial port on your computer (Do NOT power on the serial adapter yet).

3Open Hyper Terminal

Open HyperTerminal (Go to Start 2Plug in Run, and type “hypertrm”) and enter any desired name for your hyperterminal session. If the program does not launch, you may have to install it from your Windows installation disc.
