Using the menus

The projector is equipped with on-screen display (OSD) menus for making various adjustments and settings.

There are eight different menu languages. Refer to Setup Menu on page 27 for more details.

The following example describes the adjustment of the keystone.

English

1.Press the MENU/EXIT button to turn the on- screen menu on.

2.Use e or f to select Setup and press SOURCE/ ENTER.

3.Use c or d to select Keystone.

4.Adjust keystone values by pressing e or f.

5.Press the MENU/EXIT button twice* to leave and save the settings.

*The first press leads you back to the submenu and the second press closes the on-screen menu.

Picture menu

The functions provided in this menu allow you to manually adjust the image quality. Before making adjustments, try one of the preset modes in this menu. These modes have preset values for different lighting environment and presentation purposes.

1.Brightness: Adjusts the brightness of the image. The higher the value, the brighter the image. And lower the value, the darker the image. Adjust this control so the black areas of the image appear as black and that detail in the dark areas is visible.

2.Contrast: Adjusts the degree of difference between dark and light in the image. The higher the value, the greater the contrast.

3.Color: Increase or decrease the color intensity of the image. The higher the value, the more vivid and brighter the color.

4.Tint: Adjusts the color tones of the image. The higher the value, the more greenish the picture becomes. The lower the value, the more purplish the picture becomes.

5.Noise Reduce: Reduces electrical image noise. The higher the setting, the less the noise.
