Interactive Mode

On / Off

Select On to operate the personal computer being connected to the projector

using the interactive pen.

Dual Pen

On / Off

Select On to use two interactive pens at the same time. (The application

supporting Dual Pen is required.)

Pair New Device

OK

When multiple projectors are used, use this setting to make the pair (of the

projector and the interactive pen) to prevent the pen from communicating

with other projectors unexpectedly. (See page 47.) (Even when the pair is

made, the projector can communicate with the other pen of which pairing

setting isn’t made.)

It takes few seconds to change the settings of Interactive Mode and Dual Pen in the menu.

When Interactive Mode is turned On, projected colors change slightly. In addition, the contrast gets worse slightly.

When Interactive Mode is turned On, the process such as switching the input takes more time than that during the normal mode.

When Interactive Mode is turned On and the interactive pen is used, the entire process of the projector may take time.

However, it is not a product malfunction.

You are recommended to use the interactive pen on the computer of which screen resolution is set to the same setting as the projector (1024 x 768 pixels for XD365U-EST and 1280 x 800 pixels for WD385U-EST). If you use the interactive pen on the computer at the different resolution from the projector, the mouse pointer may not be located in accordance with the pen operation.

You cannot use the interactive pen while the interlace signal is displayed.
