Step 1 Setting Up the machine

3Install the OPC Belt Cartridge

Do NOT touch the green surface of the OPC belt cartridge or expose it to bright room light or sunlight for more than two minutes to avoid damaging the belt.

1Open the scanner unit.

4Put the OPC belt cartridge into the machine guides with the flat side facing you.

5Lock the belt cartridge lock levers.

2Open the inside cover so that it latches under the scanner unit.

3Remove the orange belt tension release pins from both sides of the OPC belt cartridge. Remove the protective sheet.

6Close the inside cover, and then close the scanner unit.
