Maintaining the Projector

Replacing the Lamp Module

This section explains how to replace the lamp module and clean the projector dust filters.

To replace the lamp module:

1Press the catch on the lamp door to release the lamp door.

2Lift out the lamp door.

3Grasp the wire bale and remove the lamp module.

4Insert the replacement lamp module.

5Replace the lamp door.

6Turn on the projector.

7Use the Reset Lamp Timer option in the Service menu to reset the lamp life counter.

Cleaning the Dust The Polaview 330 LCD projector has two dust filters to protect the optical

Filterscomponents and electronics. The best procedure for cleaning the filters is to use a vacuum cleaner from the outside of the filter covers. If the filters need a more thorough cleaning or replacement, follow these procedures.
