6To remove a lens, push the lever inside the lens housing and turn the lens counterclockwise until it stops. Remove the lens.

7To install a new lens, place it in the opening through the front of the pro- jector, aligning the red dot (near the base of the lens) with the red dot on the projector. Turn clockwise until you feel the lens click into place.

8Tighten the captive screw to the lens housing door. Place the front bezel back onto the projector and replace the two screws on the bottom of the projector. Replace the cover that protects the lens and the lamp housing on top of the projector.

Replacing the projection lamp

The lamp hour timer in the About menu counts the number of hours the lamp has been in use. Twenty hours before the specified end of the lamp’s life, the message “Change lamp” briefly appears on the projected screen. You can order new lamp modules from your dealer. See the Accessories cat- alog that came with the projector or visit our website for information.

1Turn off the projector and unplug the power cable.

2Wait 60 minutes to allow the projector to cool thoroughly.

3Gently place a flathead screwdriver into the slot on the top of the projec- tor (it is by the right speaker) and slide the small lever toward the right speaker. The cover that protects the lamp housing and the lens pops up.

4 Loosen the three captive screws on the lamp module.
