In addition to the above commands, two additional commands are provided for control information. Writing Value Byte

=01 to register 18 will cause a Full Reset operation to occur. Writing Value Byte = 01 to register 20 will cause the existing parameter set to be written in to NOVRAM. The QuadScan will subsequently power up with these saved parameters until the NOVRAM is once again changed by writing a 01 to register 18.
