ASTANDBY/ON button (36)

Sets the AV receiver to On or Standby.

BSTANDBY indicator (36)

Lights up when the AV receiver is on Standby and flashes while a signal is being received from the remote controller.

CRemote-control sensor (12)

Receives control signals from the remote controller.

EInput selector buttons (42)

Select the input sources.

The [MULTI CH] button selects the multichannel DVD input.

FArrow/TUNING/PRESET and ENTER buttons

When the tuner is selected, the TUNING [] [] buttons are used for radio tuning, and the PRESET

[] [] buttons are used to select radio presets (see page 45). With the setup menus, they work as arrow buttons and are used to select and set items. The ENTER button is also used with the setup menus.

GMASTER VOLUME control (42)

Sets the volume of the AV receiver to MIN, 1 through 79, or MAX.

HPHONES jack (50)

This 1/4-inch phone jack is for connecting a stan- dard pair of stereo headphones for private listening.

IDISPLAY button (43)

JDIGITAL INPUT button (41, 62)

Used to assign the digital inputs and to specify the format of digital input signals.

KTONE, [–], and [+] buttons (49)

Used to adjust the bass and treble.

LSTEREO button (51)

Selects the Stereo listening mode.

MLISTENING MODE []/[] buttons (51)

Select the listening modes.

NDIMMER button (49)

Adjusts the display brightness.

OMEMORY button (45)

Used when storing or deleting radio presets.

PTUNING MODE button (44)

Selects the Auto or Manual tuning mode for AM and FM radio.

QSETUP button

Used to access the setup menus.

RSETUP MIC (38)

The automatic speaker setup microphone connects here.

SRETURN button

Selects the previously displayed setup menu.

TAUX INPUT (30, 56)

Used to connect a camcorder, games console, and so on. There are jacks for composite video and analog audio.

Displays various information about the currently selected input source.
