DTS Compatibility means the DV-C501 can pass a DTS- encoded digital signal from discs with DTS soundtracks to an external processor or receiver with a DTS decoder

Advanced 10-Bit 27 MHz Video D/A Conversion for four times the accuracy of conventional 8-bit, 13.5 MHz systems

3-Mode Picture Magnification enables you to “zoom” in and enlarge in three steps 25 selected areas of the picture

Enhanced Black-Level Control lets you set the reference black threshold cutoff-especially useful for picture calibra- tion on TVs

Passes PLUGE Signals to make it easier for you to set the brightness of your monitor when using DVD test discs

Video CD Playback for enjoying the wide selection of inexpensive Video-CD software, which has the same high audio quality as MiniDiscs, and picture quality comparable to VHS video cassettes
