Connecting the Interface Cable

Connect the parallel or USB interface cable as shown in the figure 2-8 below:

Caution

Make sure that the power switches of both printer and host computer are turned OFF before you connect the parallel interface cable.

Connecting to the Power Source

Connecting the Power Cord

Plug the power cord (supplied) into the power inlet at the rear of the printer.

Check that the power switch (located on the left of the printer) is in the OFF position, then plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
