WELCOME

Congratulations on purchasing your Visioneer flatbed scanner. With your scanner, you can quickly scan paper documents and color photos to place their electronic images on your computer. This guide tells you how to connect your scanner, scan items, and conﬁgure the OneTouch software.

You can connect the Visioneer 6400 scanner to either your computer’s USB or parallel port; however, the Visioneer 6200 scanner must be connected to a USB port. This guide contains instructions for connecting to either port:

■For USB port instructions, see page 5.

■For parallel port instructions, see page 11.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX

Before starting the installation, check the contents of the box to make sure that all parts are included. If any items are missing or damaged, contact the dealer where you purchased the scanner.
