Connecting an RJ-45 Cable

There are eight RJ-45 ports on the AT-GS950/8POE switch. Ports 1 through 4 are PoE ports

To connect an RJ-45 cable to the switch, perform the following procedure:

1. Connect an RJ-45 cable to a twisted-pair port. See Figure 13.

An RJ-45 cable should fit snugly into the port on the switch. The tab on the connector should lock the connector into place.
