If you change the position of one of the Stations in the daisy

STATION IDS

chain, the OSD settings will no longer correspond to the new

 

situation. This function directs the OSD to rescan the Station

 

positions of the entire installation and updates the OSD so that

 

the OSD Station information corresponds to the new physical

 

layout.

 

Note: Only the Station Numbers get updated. Except for the Port

 

Names, all Administrator settings (such as Set Accessible Ports,

 

Set Quick View Ports, etc.), for all of the computers affected by

 

the change, have to be manually redone.

 

 

FIRMWARE

In order to upgrade the CL-1208 / CL-1216’s firmware (see

UPGRADE

Chapter 31), you must first enable Firmware Upgrade Mode with

 

this setting.

 

When you bring up this menu, the current firmware version levels

 

display. Select Y to enable Firmware Upgrade Mode, or N to

 

leave this menu without enabling it.

 

 

SET PS/2 CLK

Select the target computer from the list, then use the spacebar to

cycle through the choices:

 

0 PS/2 CLK delay = Off; ASIC filter = On

 

1 PS/2 CLK delay = On; ASIC filter = Off

 

2 PS/2 CLK delay = Off; ASIC filter = Off

 

The default is 0. Unless a computer is experiencing problems, we

 

recommend this setting. If you experience a problem with DELL

 

Server 1655MC computers, select setting 1.

SET CONSOLE This setting selects which consoles (internal/external) are enabled:

Use the spacebar to cycle to the choice you want. The default is 0.
