Note:

The mounting brackets are used for fixing rather than weight bearing. In a 19-inch standard rack, the weight of the switch is supported by the tray beneath it.

2.2.2 Installing the Switch on a Workbench

In circumstances that a 19-inch standard rack is not available, you can mount the switch on a clean workbench. You are recommended to fasten the feet to the switch before installation. Take the following steps to fasten the feet:

1)Remove the sticker on the feet accompanied with the device.

2)Stick the feet to the round recesses on the bottom of the device.
