Data Bits

Range:

Description:

Number of bits per character when transmitting and receiving

 

data.

 

 

Boot Type:

A Port boot is required for the change to take effect.

 

 

Parity

Range:

NONE, SPAC, MARK, EVEN, ODD

 

 

Default:

NONE

 

 

Description:

The parity the port uses when transmitting and receiving data

 

• NONE: No parity

 

• SPAC: Space Parity

 

• MARK: Mark Parity

 

• EVEN: Even Parity

 

• ODD: Odd Parity

 

 

Boot Type:

A Port boot is required for the change to take effect.

 

 

Stop Bits

Range:

1, 1.5, 2

 

 

Default:

1

 

 

Description:

The number of stop bits generated by the port when transmitting.

 

This parameter has no effect on data received by the port.

 

• 1 Stop Bit

 

• 1.5: 1.5 Stop Bits

 

• 2: 2 Stop Bits
