LABELING EXERCISES

Exercise 5

Create a symbol label on continuous tape

Step 1: Insert a continuous tape label cassette, such as T100X000VXC-

BK

Step 2: When prompted, select New Blank File. Save previous label if necessary.

Step 3: Press SHIFT key and let go

Step 4: Press A key

Step 5: Press SPACE

Step 6: Type CAUTION

Step 7: Press PRINT

Create terminal block labels

Step 1: Insert a terminal block cassette (T024X000FJC-BK, T031X000FJC-BK, or T038X000FJC-BK)

Step 2: When prompted, select New Blank File. Save previous label if necessary.

Step 3: Enter the terminal spacing (ie. 0.25”)

Step 4: Change rotation to 0 degrees for all pages. (Press the Shift + Enter keys and select 0. Press Enter. Select All Pages. Press Enter.)

Step 5:

ƒEach terminal has up to 8 lines available. You may need to increase the terminal space or decrease the font size to fit additional lines. Up to 9 terminals can be created in this way.

ƒUse the Page key to move to the next or to the previous terminal
