Some typical applications for the EZ Switch 10/100 are illustrated below:

Standalone LAN

In the figure below, the EZSwitch 10/100 is operating as a collapsed backbone for a small LAN. It is providing dedicated 10Mbps full-duplex connections to workstations and 200Mbps full-duplex connections to power users and servers.

High-Speed Switch links

In this application a 200Mbps full-duplex link is made to a second EZSwitch10/100.
