Wireless 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz Band Statements:

As the SMC2304WBR-AG can operate in the 5150-5250 MHz frequency band it is limited by the FCC, Industry Canada and some other countries to indoor use only so as to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel Mobile Satellite systems.

High power radars are allocated as primary users (meaning they have priority) of the 5250-5350 MHz and 5650-5850 MHz bands. These radars could cause interference and/or damage to the access point when used in Canada.

The term “IC:” before the radio certification number only signifies that Industry Canada technical specifications were met.
