5.On the next screen, locate your service provider’s name in the left column and in Flowlink program the correct pager service number (Phone Number) and parameters (Comm: 7E1 or 8N1) under “Phone number list”. (See Figure 3-5.)

6.Enter your password(s), if applicable.

7.At the bottom of “Phone number list”, in the form field labeled Message, type the outgoing text message (maximum of 32 characters).

8.Under “Alarm condition”, select the desired alarm parame- ter from the drop-down list, then define the alarm condi- tions.

Note

When any communication connector is not in use, it should always be capped. The cap will seal the connector to prevent corrosion, prevent moisture from entering the unit, and improve communications.
