1.4 Preparation of Power

Remove battery box from the unit by pushing the release button on the top of the battery box. Remove the battery box cover.

Insert four AA batteries into the battery box according to (+) and (-).

Press the battery box to the leg by inserting the guide pin to the guide groove.

Confirm the correct work by pressing the power switch.

This instrument can operate using 1.2V AA rechargeable batteries.

The four (4) batteries, in a battery box, should be of the same type. Do not use batteries, in a battery box, which have different remaining capacities.

When a battery box or batteries are wet, wipe off the moisture immediately and dry completely.

When a battery box is removed from the unit, power must be off. If the battery box is removed with power on, it will cause trouble.
