When I try to make a data call using ‘ATD<number>’, I get a NO CARRIER response.

•Check registration and signal to make sure modem is registered and getting good signal: +CREG, +CSQ.

When I set the S0 command, store it with &W; then send “ATZ” to the modem, the command goes back to the default of 0?
•This is a bug in the modem. S0 will store just fine, as long as “ATZ” doesn’t get sent to the modem.
After I set the E and &D commands followed by &W, it looks to be stored okay, but as soon as I recycle power on the unit the E and &D commands get set back to default of E1 and &D2.
•This is a bug in the modem. These commands will not store correctly. If modems are powered back up and an “ATZ” is sent to the modem, then &D and E will load to your stored settings correctly.
•Firmware versions 210 and above fixes the storage or the E command.
After I set the Q, V, and &S commands followed by &W, if I recycle power or send ATZ to the modem the settings will get set back to default.
