8.2 Rack mounting the Smart 216 IP

Rack mount the Smart 216 IP using the supplied Rack-mount kit. The brackets can be placed in 2 possible positions, see Figure 3.

Place the brackets towards the front of the unit so that the unit can be mounted front facing, or place the brackets towards the rear of the unit so that the unit can be mounted rear facing. Figure 4 illustrates the bracket connected for rear facing. Screw the bracket to the Smart 216 IP using the screws provided.
