1: Introduction

The xPrintServer is a patent-pending AirPrint print server which provides wireless printing capabilities for iPad, iPhone and other devices with iOS-enabled AirPrint applications for up to 2 network printers and 8 USB printers (USB hub not included). xPrintServer Home Edition also enables printing to USB printers from Mac OS X Lion and Windows (XP, 7). Simply plug the xPrintServer into your network (router or switch with wireless access point), then plug your USB printer(s) into the xPrintServer. Within seconds the xPrintServer will auto-discover your printers to enable printing from iPads and iPhones.

Network and Home Editions

The xPrintServer comes in Network and Home editions. This user guide documents the features and functionality of the Home edition xPrintServer.

No additional software is needed on the iOS device

Simple configuration

Supports up to 8 USB printers via USB hub and up to 2 network-attached printers

Note: Print jobs process one at a time regardless of the number of configured printers. USB hub for connecting USB printers is not included.
