this is due to insufficient power supply from the desktop/notebook’s USB port. You must use the provided certified and specified USB cable to connect your enclosure to the computer. You can change other USB ports of your computer to try it again. If the enclosure still fails in starting, you have to use the provided USB power adapter cable to connect the power input of the enclosure to another USB port on your computer; this will provide the additional power needed.

4.2Removing the enclosure

To safely remove the enclosure, you have to stop two USB Mass Storage devices. The first USB Mass Storage device consists of Generic AUTORUN Disk USB device and Generic Flash Disk USB device. The other Mass Storage device consists of internal Hard Disk drive.

You can double click Unplug or Eject Hardware in the taskbar to open a dialogue, and then select the mentioned above USB Mass Storage devices, and click Stop to remove the enclosure.
