1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the LaCie 119 monitor. We hope you'll be pleased by your purchase. Your LaCie 119 presents an ideal combination of high 1000:1 contrast and 250 cd/m2 maximum brightness for your viewing comfort. If possible, and for best viewing conditions we recommend that you use your monitor in its native 1280 x 1024 resolution.

If you are planning on calibrating your monitor, please refer to the OSD controls presented in this User’s Manual. If you haven't invested in a calibration tool yet, LaCie blue eye 2, a combination of hardware calibration software and colorimeter may also be of interest to you. Please refer to our website at www.lacie.com for details.
