Upgrade Screen

The Upgrade facility allows you to upgrade the NAS Server's software. You need to obtain the upgrade file from your dealer or supplier.

Note that the NAS Server is unavailable during the upgrade process, and all connections will be lost, including the one used to start the upgrade.

The NAS Server will reboot once the upgrade installation is completed. The procedure may take from 5 to 10 minutes.

 

Upgrade Screen

 

 

Current Firmware

The version number of the NAS Server's current firmware.

 

 

Upgrade

Enter the full path (e.g. C:\downloads\utilities\DS36799.rpm) of the

 

upgrade file. You can also click the "Browse" button to browse the

 

folders on your PC and select the desired file.

 

Note: Implementation of this feature is Browser-dependent.

 

 

Start Upgrade

Click this button to start upgrading the firmware.
