100Base-FX Fiber Port

The 100Base-FX fiber port uses an SC connector. Figure 2-5 shows an SC fiber connector being inserted into the fiber port on the VH-8TX1UM/VH- 8TX1MF.

The fiber uplink on the VH-8TX1MF supports multi-mode 62.5/125µm fiber with SC connectors. The fiber connectors are configured as a receive (RX) / transmit (TX) pair.

The fiber uplink on the VH-8TX1UM supports single-mode 10/125 µm fiber with SC connectors. The fiber connectors are configured as a receive (RX) / transmit (TX) pair.
