Socket (TP1006C/TP1008C -- connect to keyboard)

Optional jack for tapping keyboard’s 5V power supply.

Caution: Compex will not be liable for any damage arising from using the hub operated from either the keyboard power tap or mouse port tap. Please check with your

computer equipment vendor on the availability of not less than 300mAmp at 5V DC on your mouse or keyboard socket.

±Features:

Cost effective, unmanaged hub allowing interconnection of different media such as Fiber Optic or Thin (BNC) or Thick (AUI) with UTP segments within a single device.

Connects up to 6;/ 8;/ 16 UTP 10Base-T link; and one Thin (BNC) and/or one Thick (AUI) Ethernet link or one Multi-mode Fiber Optic Link.

Detects network collisions and alerts all participating host devices. Amplifies and re-times received signals and transmits the signals to attached host devices in the event of a collision.

Preamble regeneration, signal retiming and restoration, extension of fragmented packets and jabber function for automatic partitioning to isolate network failure.

Global power, collision, jabber LEDs and individual port Link/Activity LED to aid network diagnosis and management.

Performs full 10Mbps Ethernet multi-port repeater functions and complies with IEEE802.3 standard for 10Base-T Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP); and 10Base-2 Thin Coaxial (BNC) or 10Base-5 Thick Coaxial (AUI) or 10Base-F (Fiber Optic).

TP1016F has 10Base-FL Port that support long distances up to 2km.
