Enable or Disable. Address

 

Translation must be enabled

 

for client computers to con-

 

nect to the Internet. Selecting

 

Enable enables the following

 

functions:

 

IP Masquerade - When the

 

LAN computer connects to the

 

WAN side, the IP address of

 

LAN computer is dynamically

 

translated to become the WAN

 

IP address of the AirStation.

 

Multiple LAN computers can

 

share one WAN IP address to

 

access the Internet.

Static IP address translation -When the WAN requests connection to the LAN, the WAN IP address of the AirStation is translated into the IP address of the LAN computer.

Log Output - Set ‘Log Output’ to log discarded packets. Otherwise, a dropped packed is not logged.

IPSec Pass-Through- Enables the AirStation’s ability to pass IPSec VPN data.
