12When the Windows has finished installing the new hardware device message appears, click Finish.

13When prompted to restart the PC, remove the CD from the CD-ROM drive and click Yes.

Installing the Software Drivers (Windows 2000 OS)

This section explains how to install the cable modem using the USB Connections with the Windows 2000 operating system (OS).

1Power on the computer. After the computer boots up:

aWindows detects the cable modem.
