This chapter describes the function of the LEDs, and provides technical product data for the AirCard USB modem.
LED operation
The AirCard USB modem has two LED lights. The LEDs operate as follows:

Data | Off | The modem has no power. You have |

| powered off the modem (TOOLS > Power Off |
|
| Modem), or the modem is not completely |
|
| inserted into the USB slot, or the computer is |
|
| in suspend mode (which powers down the |
|
| modem). |

| Solid green | The modem has power, has found a signal, |
|
| and is ready to connect. |
|
|
|
| Green, | The modem is powering up, or no service is |
| blinking | available. |
| slowly | See the online Help (“Not in Service”). |
|
|
|
| Green, | The modem is sending or receiving data. |
| blinking |
|
| rapidly |
|
|
|
|
PWR | Off | The modem has no power. You have |
|
| powered off the modem (TOOLS > Power Off |
|
| Modem), or the modem is not completely |
|
| inserted into the USB slot, or the computer is |
|
| in suspend mode (which powers down the |

| modem). |

|
| Red | The modem has power; the battery is low. |
|
| Charge the modem: |
|
| Insert the modem into the docking station, |
|
| and attach the docking station to your |
|
| computer. |
|
|
|
| Green | The modem has power; the battery is |
|
| charged. |
|
|
|
|
