LED operation

Environmental specifications

This chapter describes the function of the LEDs, and provides technical product data for the AirCard USB modem.

LED operation

The AirCard USB modem has two LED lights. The LEDs operate as follows:

Solid green

The modem has power, has found a signal,

 

 

and is ready to connect.

 

 

 

 

Green,

The modem is powering up, or no service is

 

blinking

available.

Green,

The modem is sending or receiving data.

 

blinking

 

 

rapidly

 

 

 

 

PWR

Off

The modem has no power. You have

 

 

powered off the modem (TOOLS > Power Off

inserted into the USB slot, or the computer is

 

 

in suspend mode (which powers down the

 

 

modem).

 

 

 

 

Red

The modem has power; the battery is low.

 

 

Charge the modem:

 

 

Insert the modem into the docking station,

 

 

and attach the docking station to your

 

 

computer.

 

 

 

 

Green

The modem has power; the battery is

 

 

charged.
