Installation

When the drivers have been installed, the system tray dis‐ plays the message “Your new hardware is installed and ready to use”:

8.If Watcher has not started automatically, start it: double‐

click the Watcher icon on your desktop.

Proceed to configure the AirCard USB modem to use your account (if it was not pre‐activated). See “Activation” on page 20.

USB modem insertion and removal

Inserting the AirCard USB modem

To insert the AirCard USB modem into a computer:

1.Slide the lever on the bottom of the modem, in the direction indicated by the triangle, to release the modemʹs USB connector.

2.Adjust the USB connector to the desired angle.

The USB connector is adjustable to a 90, 135, or 180‐degree angle.

3.Gently insert the modem into the USB slot. Alternatively, you can attach the docking station to your computer’s USB slot, and insert the AirCard USB modem into the docking station.
