NOTE: To ensure proper performance, it is important to install the Base Unit FIRST then install the Extension Unit. Also ensure that both units are securely plugged into the wall outlet.

5.Plug telephone’s line cord into the extension unit. There should now be a dial tone
when your phone is taken off the hook.

Connecting your Computer
After installing the base unit (see above), follow these steps to install the extension unit to the modular telephone jack on the modem.
1.To connect a computer modem to the Wireless Jack for Modems, simply plug the extension unit into any electrical outlet close to your computer.
Remember: The Modem Jack for Modems does not work plugged into a power strip or surge supressor.
2.Plug a phone cord into the jack on the side of the extension unit.
