Requirements for Performing this Review

To perform this review, Citrix suggests that you have access to at least two clean, server-class computers that are not currently in use and a computer that can serve as a client device. All three computers communicate over a network and belong to a single domain or workgroup that is not currently used by a MetaFrame Presentation Server.

Suggested Hardware and Operating System Combinations

Citrix suggests that the two computers on which you install MetaFrame Presentation Server each have one of the following hardware and software combinations:

Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Advanced Server

Pentium-compatible processor, 166 MHz

256 MB RAM

2 GB hard disk with at least 1.25 GB available

Microsoft Windows 2000 Data Center

Eight-way array of Pentium III Xeon processors

256 MB RAM

2 GB hard disk with at least 1.25 GB available

Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition

Pentium-compatible processor, 550 MHz

256 MB RAM

2 GB hard disk with at least 1.75 GB available

Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition

Pentium-compatible processor, 733 MHz

256 MB RAM

2 GB hard disk with at least 1.75 GB available

Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition

Pentium-compatible processor, 733 MHz

1 GB RAM

2 GB hard disk with at least 1.75 GB available
