Installing Memory

Only the DIMMs listed inTable 6 should be used. Memory must be installed in the order shown in Table 8 into the slots located in Figure 13. To install a DIMM into a slot in the B230 blade server, follow these steps:

Step 1 Open both DIMM connector latches. (See Figure 12, callout 1.)

Step 2 Press the DIMM into its slot evenly on both ends until it clicks into place. (See Figure 12, callout 2.) Step 3 Press the DIMM connector latches inward slightly to seat them fully. (See Figure 12, callout 3.)
