14.Why is the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.9 (32-bit) operating system not able to detect the Emulex card after installing the Emulex drivers?

On systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.9 (32-bit) operating system, the Emulex driver is dependent on the following RPMs:

kernel-headers-2.6.18-346.el5.i386.rpm

glibc-headers-2.5-107.i386.rpm

glibc-devel-2.5-107.i386.rpm

gcc-4.1.2-54.el5.i386.rpm

If any of the RPMs are missing, the system has issues in detecting the Emulex network adapters.
