About the M130

Environmental Requirements

To operate the system efficiently and safely, install and maintain the Omvia Media Server M130 in a room with the appropriate temperature and humidity.

The recommended location for the system is an office environment with low dust content and an effective cooling and ventilation system. Install the system within 5 feet of electrical outlets. A typical location is in the room containing centralized telephone cabling, or near the PBX used by the system.

Equipment Installation

Do not install the equipment in direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can cause the system to overheat.
