Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery

WARNING: The battery may explode if installed incorrectly. Replace the battery only with the same or equivalent type. Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Procedure

1Adhere the coin-cell battery into its position on the palm-rest assembly.

2Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the I/O board.

1Replace the wireless card. See "Replacing the Wireless Card" on page 27.

2Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 17.

3Replace the base-cover assembly. See "Replacing the Base-Cover Assembly" on page 12.
