Removing the Base Cover

1.Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2.Pry and lift the base cover from the computer by following the arrow sequence in the diagram.

Installing the Base Cover

1.Attach the base cover to the computer.

2.Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.

Removing the Battery

1.Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2.Remove the base cover.

3.Remove the screws that secure the battery to the computer and lift the battery from the computer.
