Configuring the settings of the RTM-8000

You can configure the settings of the RTM-8000 in the GPRS Modem Configuration Tool window during installation. If you need to change these settings afterwards, click Start on Windows Taskbar and select GPRS Modem Tools, GPRS Modem Configuration to open the GPRS Modem Configuration Tool window and make changes.

The section below describes each setting item in the window. For actual setting parameters, please consult your operator.

User Name and Password Required

If your operator requires you to enter your user name and password before connecting, check this checkbox. Enter your user name in the Username field, password in the Password field and password again in the Confirm Password field.

PIN Code Required

If the PIN code of your SIM card is activated, check this checkbox. Enter your PIN code in the PIN Code field and your PIN code again in the Confirm PIN Code field.
