7 Displayed within the “Adapter” field are all of the network adapters that have been installed on the computer. Select your installed NIC from the pull down box by clicking on the drop down arrow.
8 Select “Obtain an IP address
from a DHCP server” if dynamic addressing is desired. This will allow the computer to receive an IP address directly from the DSL gateway.
OR
Select “Specify an IP address” if static addressing is desired. (If you chose static addressing, enter the public or private IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway, which you can obtain from QIP® or AS400®.)
9 Click on the DNS tab.
