™BASS/TREBLE CONTROL – to adjust the

BASS/TREBLE level :

BASS # $

–to increase or decrease the low tone. TREBLE # $

–to increase or decrease the high tone.

£ AUTO REVERSE

–to select the desired playback modes in tape deck 2 only.

≤DYNAMIC BASS BOOST (DBB)

–to select a bass boost level or to turn off bass boost.

∞TAPE DECK 2 § TAPE DECK 1 ≥ CLOCK

– to view the clock display.

• REPEAT

– to playback track(s)/disc(s) repeatedly.

ª TEST TONE

– to check the sound level of the Front Left, Front

Right, Center and Surround speakers.

º CENTER +/-

– to adjust the sound level of the center speaker.

⁄ TIMER ON/OFF

– to activate or deactivate the timer function.

¤ SLEEP

– to activate, deactivate or set the sleep timer

function.

‹ MUTE

– to interrupt or resume sound reproduction.

› REAR +/-

– to adjust the sound level of the surround

speakers.

fi BALANCE L/R

– to balance the sound level of the front left and

right speakers.

fl SHUFFLE

– to playback track(s)/disc(s) in random order.

‡ DIGIT 0 – 9

(numbers consisting more than two figures must be

keyed in within 2 seconds.)

for CD	to key in a CD track for playback
	or programming.
for TUNER	to key in a preset radio station.

–to switch the system to Standby mode or Eco Power Standby mode.

Notes for remote control:

–First, select the source you wish to control by pressing one of the source select keys on the remote control (CD or TUNER for example).

–Then select the desired function (É, í, ë for example).
