Moreover, you may choose the Authentication Type, either Open System or Shared Key for authentication among wireless devices. The Open System and Shared Key are the identification methods defined in the IEEE802.11 standard. The difference is that the Shared Key requires the use of the WEP privacy mechanism for authentication. Simply put, if the Shared Key is selected, you need to set the WEP Keys.
