Installation and Wiring

1. Before Starting

Read these instructions and the precautions carefully.

WARNING!

Be sure to disconnect the battery (-) terminal before starting. This is to prevent short circuits during installation.

Precautions

•This unit is only for cars with negative ground 12V systems.

•Do not open the case. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. If you drop anything into the unit during installation, consult your dealer or an authorized Rosen service center.

•Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the case.

3. Installation Requirements

1Use the enclosed screws for installation. Using other screws can cause damage and void the warranty.

2Before installation, remove the three transport screws from the bottom of the unit! Use a Phillips screwdriver.

Transport Screws -

REMOVE BEFORE INSTALLATION!

3Install the unit in one of the three orientations shown.

Always adjust the springs as shown!

Note: Never install the DVA-3210 on end!
