Using the Camera

The MT380 has a built-in 2.0 megapixel camera that provides the following:

•Ability to capture still images when a card is being read

•Verify attendant time with a photo image

•Serve as a video recorder

•Function as an audio/video intercom

In addition, facial recognition can be incorporated using third party software. The MT380 has a demo program that can capture still images with a card number and time stamp, but only when a proximity card is being read.
