Turning the Scanner Lamp On and Off

The scanner lamp remains on whenever the scanner has power, unless you turn it off using the VistaAccess Power Saving utility. Turning off the scanner lamp when you are not scanning prolongs the life of the lamp.

The Power Saving window is located in VistaAccess. See “Using VistaAccess” for information on accessing VistaAccess. Inside VistaAccess you will find Lamp On/Off Control. Click on Lamp On/Off Control. You will find a button to shut the lamp off or turn it on. Also you can set a timer to automatically power off the lamp after at selected period of time.
