OPERATION

Using the Scale

Measure Weight

The scale's default mode is set to weigh solid items. Volume Mode, used for weighing liquids, allows you to choose between WATER or MILK modes because milk is denser than water.

1.Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.

2.Gently touch the center of the scale; wait for the display to show 0.

3.To set the mode, press and hold the ZERO/MODE button for 3 seconds

(toggle between Weight, Water and Milk modes).

4.Place item to be measured within the center of the Weighing Area of the scale.

5.Volume or weight will be shown on the display.

Zero & Tare Functions

To measure items as they are added, use the Zero and Tare Functions. If the weight of the items being measured is below 4% of the scale’s capacity (less than 0.4kg/0.9lb), the Zero function is used. If the weight of the items exceeds 4% of the scale’s capacity, the Tare function is used.

1.Place the first item(s) within the center of the Weighing Area of the scale to take a measurement.

2.Without removing the item(s), press the ZERO/MODE button to reset the display to 0.

3.Depending on the weight of the item(s), you will see the Zero indicator

" " or the Tare indicator " " on the display.

4.With the first item(s) still in place, add the next item to the surface of the scale. The display will now show the weight of that item.

5.Press ZERO/MODE to see the combined weight of the two items.

6.Press ZERO/MODE again to reset the display to 0.

7.Repeat these steps until all items have been added.

Note: Adhere to the maximum weight capacity of the scale.

Minus Function

If you add multiple items to the scale at one time to get a total weight, you can identify the value of a single item or ingredient by using the Minus Function:

1.Add item(s) to the scale; display shows total weight.

2.Press ZERO/MODE to reset display to 0.

3.Remove an item.

4.Display shows the weight of the removed item with the Minus Function

947, 940, 946 specifications

The Acu-Rite 946, 940, and 947 weather stations represent a significant advancement in home weather monitoring technology. Each model is designed to provide accurate, real-time weather information, ensuring that users stay informed about the atmospheric conditions impacting their day-to-day activities.

One standout feature of the Acu-Rite 946, 940, and 947 is their unprecedented accuracy. These weather stations utilize advanced sensors to measure key meteorological parameters such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall. The use of professional-grade sensors ensures that users receive reliable data that can help them make informed decisions about outdoor activities.

The Acu-Rite 946,947 models, in particular, showcase the innovative Enhanced Radiation Shield technology. This feature effectively reduces the effects of solar radiation and precipitation on temperature readings, providing a more accurate reflection of the true air temperature. As a result, users can rely on the information displayed, minimizing discrepancies that often affect consumer-grade weather stations.

Connectivity is another highlight of these models. The Acu-Rite 940 and 947 include wireless technology, allowing for easy transmission of data from the outdoor sensors to the indoor display unit. With a range of up to 330 feet, users can conveniently place the outdoor sensor in various locations around their property without worrying about losing connectivity. Additionally, the color display on the indoor unit is user-friendly and designed for readability, providing a comprehensive view of current conditions and long-term weather trends.

The Acu-Rite 946, 940, and 947 also feature advanced weather forecasting technologies. The proprietary Weather Ticker displays essential weather information, including upcoming rain, storms, or changes in temperature. Users can plan their activities effectively based on this reliable forecasting data.

Moreover, these models incorporate the patented "Smart Mode" technology, which simplifies the setup process. The intuitive interface guides users easily through installation, making it accessible for individuals with little to no technical expertise.

In summary, the Acu-Rite 946, 940, and 947 weather stations meld advanced technology with user-centric design, offering features that cater to both novice and experienced weather enthusiasts. With accurate measurements, robust connectivity, intuitive design, and reliable forecasting capabilities, these weather stations stand out as essential tools for anyone keen to track and understand their local weather conditions.
