Removing an Original Misfeed (ADF)

When an original misfeed has occurred

#Paper Misfeed Indicator will light.

$Paper misfeed message will appear in the message display.

1	Paper Feed Cover

Paper Feed area:

Open paper feed cover of ADF.

	Remove misfed paper and close
	paper feed cover.
2	Paper exit area:
	Paper exit area:
	Open paper feed cover of ADF.
	Paper Feed Cover
	Remove misfed paper and close
	paper feed cover.

Handling

ATTENTION	C	Make sure that the misfeed indicator goes off after removing a paper misfeed.
ATTENTION		The misfeed indicator will not go off if the paper is still jammed in the copier.

		Check again and remove all misfed paper.
