Connect your tablet to a LAN (10/100Mbps).

Power connector

Use the 65 W ac power adapter shipped with the dock to provide power to the tablet and charge the battery.

Using the Bluetooth keyboard

To use the Bluetooth keyboard, install your tablet into the keyboard first, as shown in the following illustration. Ensure that the tablet is secured in place.

Then, pair the Bluetooth keyboard with your tablet. See “Using Bluetooth devices” on page 14.

Note: To save battery power, turn off the Bluetooth keyboard when it is not in use. For information about how to turn off the Bluetooth feature, see “Extending the battery life between charges” on page 18.

Using the hot keys

The Bluetooth keyboard has several hot keys. Press a hot key to quickly control the associated function. To locate the hot keys, see “ThinkPad Tablet 2 Bluetooth Keyboard with Stand” on page 27.
