Note:

Completely

turn

off

your

ThinkPad

 

notebook

computer

before

connecting

or

disconnecting

the

keyboard.

If

the ThinkPad

notebook

computer

is

suspended

 

when

you

connect

or

disconnect

the

keyboard,

your

system might

not

install

the

correct

TrackPoint

device

driver

when

the system

returns

to

full

power.

 

 

 

 

 

The

following

information

shows how

to

set

up

the

TrackPoint

keyboard

and

the

optional

mouse

for

your

IBM

ThinkPad

notebook

Connecting

the

you

connecting

the

keyboard

ThinkPad’s

docking station

or

port

replicator,

connect

 

the

keyboard

 

using

the following

steps:

1. Turn

off

your

 

computer

and

all

attached

devices.

 

 

2. Disconnect any keyboard or mouse now attached to the computer.

3. Look

at

the

two

connectors

at

the

end of

the

keyboard

cable.
